1991 toyota celica keeps dieing.

I have a 1991 toyota celica gts 2.2L. Whenever the
engine gets up to running temperature its just
shuts down completely. I'm not able to start it
again untell it cools down enough. What could it
be?

On my 94 celica, the coolant temperature sensor was causing the engine to stall once hot. If engine rpms go up and then stalls, replace the coolant temperature sensor.
