hi. my var overheats but the cooland t dosnt drain out.dont know where it goes!it only overheats when driving at around 70mph. do you thing it might be the radiator and thermostat? i had the car diagnosed but they said all is fine. thanks

Hi ilyas! I know you said you had it checked by I still say it's the thermostat. Seek a second opinion, preferably by a dealer. If there's no loss of antifreeze that's the next thing in line. Good luck!

it's not the thermostat lol i you prob have an internal leak in the compression chamber but most likely it's the other way around since you say it is boiling the compression chamber has more pressure than the coolant system and if you had a faulty head gasket, a cracked head, or a faulty intake manifold gasket it could cause, compression gases to leak in to the coolant system to cause this problem if you were to geta pressure tester and hook it up to the filler kneck and pump it up to the caps rated pressure wich is usually about 14 psi and hold it if the pressure keeps climbing past 14 this is more than most likely the case if you need any more help just asked i would be more than glad to walk you through the process the only way the the thermostat would cause this problem is if it were stuck closed in wich case if you started your engine and took the cap off and it emediatly started overheateing this might be the case but i doubt it
