Question type: General
I have a 1996 toyota celica GT convertible anniversary edition. How many of this model were manufactured in the US. Also is this car worth fixing up? (ie, paint and body work-No Rust)

Hi carrie! I couldn't find production numbers on the web for the 25th Anniversary edition of the Celica, but they were a limited edition and should have a plate that says that. Perhaps it says how limited the run was. As far as restoring it. If you are asking from a collectors standpoint I would probably say no. The Kelly Bluebook value for that car is actually lower than the GT coupe and liftback from the same year. If it's a project you want to do and the car makes sense for you go ahead, but it doesn't appear to have much more market value than a non-anniversary Celica ...Hope that helps. Good luck!
well i'm not exactly sure a about the production numbers either but it is true that they were a limited edition and coming from a celica collector i would have to say yes it is worth restoring i would but i love celica's it does'nt really matter how much the car is worth it matters what the car is worth to you
