Engine

Asked by Jair Feb 23, 2018 at 04:42 PM about the 2000 Toyota Celica GTS Hatchback

Question type: General

I have a celica gts 2000 and my engine is about to
die and I've been debating if I want to get a used
engine at the junkyard. Any ideas?

You have to decide if the car is worth the cost of replacing the engine. You need to get the exactly correct engine for your year and model car. Anything else and you will have endless problems getting it to work.

same thing happened to me. 2000 gts 245k miles I just junked it after keeping the almost new battery. Celicas are so hard to work on all mechanics hate me and charge me alot even for a belt change. Now i have a 02 honda civic manual transmission and i love it and so do mechanics lol.
