Ok car gurus I need your help. I recently
purchased an 2005 Audi A4. The
challenge is headlights, turn signals , brake
lights all do not work. Windshield wipers
and side body lights will not turn off.
Interior electronics all works fine like
Windows, side mirrors and radio and
heat/ac. Car does run great but exterior
electrical is big problem. Somebody

Get a schematic / shop manual & multi-meter and start tracing, look at related fuses. Find a good auto electric shop. Someone before you may have buggered it up
Thanks for the advice, all help is greatly appreciated. I love this car, need to get this resolved. I'm going to start checking with the multimeter today. If read other posts regarding the control module might be the culprit...but does anyone know if that might be related to this electrical issue?
My lights and heat come on and stay on when no one is driving it when it’s parked what could it b
I have an audi a4 2003 but my driver side head light not working
Hello guys, has this been solved yet? I’m having the same problem with my Audi A4 2006
*UPDATE* J519 was the culprit. Horn, wipers, brake lights, turn signals, headlights were all affected. I purchased a used J519 power supply control module (sits under driver side dash above pedals). Reprogram & adapted using Ross tech vag. Replaced t32 connection and replaced exposed burnt wires. Almost all is back up and running. My headlights are still out but I now have hibeams, turn signals, brakes, horn and wipers. Working on tracking down headlight short now but my time is limited, military. Now I’ve read of many having the same or similar issues as mine. The J519 power supply module relays power to many components activated from driver side. Mine must have gotten water in from the sunroof. My J519 was fried bad, many t32 connection wires were melted and exposed especially the brown ground wire. I ran a wire shortcut on the t32 wire repair to not pull all the wires out. Almost there but still working reg headlights.
