I have alot  of brake dust on the front passenger  rim .   and its starting to make  a gringing sound when  i come  to a complete stop . it sounds like its coming from the same wheel.   is this a problem i can fix myself.   Thanks.

You probably need to replace the brakes. Grinding is a good sign that your pads are shot and they are scoring the rotor. You can replace the pads and rotors yourself if you have the tools and ability.
