On the dashboard I get the low oil pressure light. When the engine is cold it does not show. When the temperature guage is in the middle it will come on and usually stay on until the engine is shut off. I bought oil pressure sensor to change and cannot locate where to install.

Hey Scooter! I couldn't find the info for your particular model year but you may want to start by looking for a wire that runs close to or behind the alternator and near the oil filter. It should be the only wire in that general area. Actually where you want to start is your local library where you'll find the Chilton's manual for your Corolla. You'll get a step by step guide to switching out the sensor which will save you time and sanity. Short of that you can talk to the counter guy where you got your sensor and he should be able to lead you in the right direction. Parts guys are often a great source of information. Good luck!
The oil pressure switch aka sensor is right beside the oil filter with a wire plugged into it up under the car in middle more closer to passenger side
