I am using 1998 corolla. It runs very smooth it has 160K miles.I am planning to go 1000K miles on a trip.Is it safe to go with this or anyone has made such journey with such an old car.

If you have kept up with the Maintenance then I would not worry about it. I regularly took my 230000 mile expedition on such trips.

You know best. Do you trust it? IF you were to sell it to a friend, would you feel good about your self? It's not a big deal driving 1000 miles. And if the car hasn't been on a long trip for awhile, it might even do it some good. Like burn off some of the carbon that's built up. If the oil hasn't been changed in the last 3000 miles, do it and go have fun.

Thanks Guys... I love my Car and all go for regular maintenance. I was little nervous because from last 3 years I never drove my car for more than 150 miles on a single stretch.

put of some injector cleaner in the gas tank before you leave. And before you return. Your Toyota will thank you.
