99 corolla p0125 code overheating quickly

Asked by adudenamedjeff Jul 08, 2016 at 03:25 AM about the 1999 Toyota Corolla CE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had a P0125 code so I replaced the temperature sensor and the light went off,
but now the car heats up to the redline within 5 minutes of driving. Fan is
working with AC on and lowers the temp some, but I dont want to drive it with
the temp gauge hitting red. Any ideas to fix this?
