1999 Toyota Corolla VE

Asked by GuruTDR34 Jun 11, 2018 at 12:14 PM about the 1999 Toyota Corolla VE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car was running smoothly before I had my front brake pads and brake rotor
replaced. Later my car was shaking and vibrating so hard I thought the car was
about to shut off. I noticed this happens when I'm stopping or slowing down.
Then my car drags and I have to press the gas pedal to floor to get it up to a
safe speed.  What happen?

Sounds like you have a stuck piston in the caliper. Does it pull to one side when braking?
