Clutch

I am forced to bump start my car, anytime I need to drive..When I step on the clutch, and the key is turned to the on position, I hear a click noise from my clutch.  Any help out there?

hi, u need to check your clutch pressure, clutch disk and release bearing, these things might need to be replaced. good luck!

OK...several things. One to the other guy who replied...if the cars runs fine when he jumps it off, then the noise isn't coming from the clutch. To you...it is more likely that the click is the starter solenoid clicking in...and the silence after that is the bad starter not doing it's job. If there were any issues with switches (clutch or otherwise), the starter solenoid would not click when you push in the clutch and turn the key. Take the starter off and take it to AutoZone. They will test it and sell you a new one. HAGD!

If you have to bump start your car, it is either a battery or charging problem. I really don't believe you have a clutch problem.
