battery drains out overnight
I got an A/C recharging done by an auto repair shop two days ago. At the time of
recharging, the mechanic replaced a new relay in the fuse box at the engine
compartment. Unfortunately this morning,my car could not start,even nothing showed
on the dash board. The battery was dead 100%. After Jump-start, the engine can run
well. What was caused the battery drain so bad ? Is that new relay wrong?
Relay Probably is wrong or bad. Too much of a coincidence that one day it's fine, he changes a relay and suddenly a dead battery. Was it the A/C relay?
No A/C relay even in there. Why would he even be screwing around in that box for a re-charge for A/C? Is it labeled----.the one he replaced? click for full screen,
FordNut, Thank you for your kind advice. What are your suggestions, based on your experience, to get rid of this problem? Should I go back to talk to that dishonest repair shop (being charged for $60) OR look for other auto electric shop? I have no idea if AutoZone could help me check out that bad relay or not.
