Car problem

I have a corolla toyoto i didnt have any issues with
car until my car stopped so i went to the mechanic
and he told that the problem is the starter so he
fixed the starter but when i took the car the steering
wheel was so hard to drive and It was so hard to
turn it to the right or left side and it was a weird
voice everytime i turned to the right or left so today i
drove my car normally when i stopped a rlly weird
sound and a white fume and a rlly bad smell like its
something burned and the batterie turned on what
should be the problem
