Recently Installed Fog Lights No Longer Working on 2005 Toyota Corolla CE

So I had my technician buddy install fog lights onto my 2005 Toyota Corolla CE back in October 2015. They have worked great every day so far until this evening when I left work and was in my car on the way home. I kept trying the button, which would clip in like it's supposed to but the lights had no reaction and would not come on. My mechanic friend is an expert at cars and I doubt that this new issue has anything to do with how he installed them. All other lights on my vehicle are fine and work- just the fog lights. The wiring is connected through my battery I believe and into my cars "computer area" (little area on the left side of the wheel).
I have no idea what happened. I go to work every day at 8 am and they worked fine this morning. I ALWAYS turn them off and I even check in front of my car before I go in the building to make sure they are off!
Someone if you may have a solution, please let me know!
