Serpentine Belt or Timing belt Squealing on 2005 Toyota Carolla CE

Thanks, Is there a timing belt? This one is squealing - does this belt run the
alternator, the AC and anything else? Would the car not start or not run if it
were to break?  My dad used to use some kind of spray lube on his squealing
belts, but the car place guy said that would only hasten the belt breaking. What
do you say?

Do NOT spray stuff on the belts when they make noise, instead fix the issue with it.

no timing belt,that 1.8L engine has a timing chain, replace the drive belt to eliminate your squeak.
