2005 Toyota Corolla won't start

Asked by veronicaaa_t Jan 07, 2017 at 04:59 PM about the 2005 Toyota Corolla LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Last night, I had to move the battery to my car
aside so I could replace one of the headlights. Upon
moving it back into place and setting everything
back up, the lights to the car come on, but when I
try to start the car, nothing happens. It acts
completely dead, but the lights stay on. The battery
is new, but the car won't start.

Double check the cables to make sure they are tight. Take note of the condition of the cables, look for corrosion in the wire itself. Moving the battery may have disturbed the battery cables, so they may not be making a good connection.
