how do I move back seat to get in trunk lock is stuck

put key in trunk lock and will not open and trunk release inside car is not working

Have you tried squirting some WD-40 into the lock to free it up before tearing out the back seat?

Are you aware that there is a lock position that disables the remote release. If the key is turned to the left in the trunk lock, the cable release won't work, avoid turning key to left when unlocking. Just a thought...
