2001 highlander has no get up and go

Asked by docsuce Dec 12, 2015 at 03:20 AM about the 2001 Toyota Highlander Limited V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

when I press on the accelerator, nada, zip, zilch. Eventually, it will all of a
sudden catch and go. Have cel, trac, and vsc lights on. Engine trouble
codes are P0141 and P0172.  I've cleaned the mas and didn't fix. I
replaced the Mas and that didn't work either. Should it have been
immediately fixed? I didn't drive it after replacement. Also when
disconnecting the mas, the car quit which I was under the impression that
the mas wasn't at fault then......New developement. Rechecked the codes
and now have 7 of them. P0300 p0301 p0303 p0305 and p0110 along with
p0172 and p0141. Should I erase them and see what comes back? I'm
flying blind at this point. I need some guidance.

the p0300, 301, 305 are misfire codes, spark plugs, coils, tune up. I will start there.
