2005 Chevy Colorado

Asked by MPOOL Aug 03, 2017 at 10:10 AM about the 2005 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We just bought a 2005 Chevy Colorado with only 69K miles. Had the car a little
over a month and the engine buckled. The dealership is willing to work with
us.on replacing the engine-we pay for the cost of the engine about 4K and they
will install at no labor cost to us or they buy back the car for 4k minus what we
paid. What should we do???????

another option you have is check on ebay or with your local dismantlers, you can find a used engine (make sure its tested and low mileage) for under $2k and many shops will install it for under $500
