My 2005 Toyota Highlander window powers down when the car is turned off

Asked by gia Dec 07, 2017 at 09:21 AM about the 2005 Toyota Highlander Limited V6 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This is the driver's side rear door window that powers down after the car is turned off. The first time it happened was overnight and it rained and I couldn't get the window to raise so I had the motor replaced. Since then, 3 times I have come out in the morning and the window is down. Now what?

1 Answer

Can I get credit for the window motor if they didn't diagnose it correctly? Over $400 for the motor only to find out it wasn't the problem?
