Question type: General

Im looking at buying a 1994 land
cruiser straight 6, entire life on dual
fuel. Only problem is it has 358000
kms on the clock. Is this too high am
what is the average mileage they get
before they die

223,000 miles is the beginning of the end you might say. it can go much further, I have heard outrageous claims if 500,000 being gotten but I for one am skeptical of that.., but I know for a fact 300k is not unusual. It's all about past maintenance and treatment of the Land Cruiser, they are tough as nails and will go WELL beyond 223k but at this stage, it's like an 80 year old man, could live 'till 100 or could drop dead today, depending on the past

make sure the head is ok, and no miss on idle. Also check if the lpg is in date.
