will not start

Does the starter click when trying to start or nothing at all ?

I was told to tap it and it worked don't kno for how long tho

It was nothing at all that is way concerns me

If you taped on the starter and it worked, sounds like a problem with the starter. Take it out and have it tested.

Definitely have the starter replaced the brushes in the starter are bad.

I had that issue starter spins but wouldn't crank the starter relay was bad now it cranks but will not start so I bought a new battery same issue cranks now no start

I have a problem in my 03 matrix and when we start it the starter does not click and when we try to put positive into the starter it’s starting but doesn’t turn on so I’m thinking it’s an electrical problem

Is it getting petrol?
