2001 MR2 Spyder?

Asked by Ryley Jun 27, 2014 at 12:01 AM about the 2001 Toyota MR2 Spyder 2 Dr STD Convertible

Question type: General

Just want to know the pros and cons about the 2001 MR2 Spyder. I know it is small and
only has 2 seats and very small storage, so I was wondering if there are any other
information about it such as mpg, practicality, performance, etc.

Heres a link with all the MR2 info, I would also check out the Mazda Miata MX5 my personal favorite: http://www.edmunds.com/toyota/mr2-spyder/2001/?sub=convertible&ps=used

Two cars of similar size and nature but drive completely differently. The MR2 weighs less, is longer, lower, wider, longer wheelbase. AND it's mid-engine. It is sharp and quick. It handles as if on Velcro unlike most anything I've driven With it's mid-engine layout it will turn on its own axis.. it turns on a dime.It is fun, fast economical @ 33mpg daily. \ It has a cool factor that is thorough the roof. Did I mention how fun she was to drive? This could very well be the last of the true sports car.. It is a visceral experience.. This is a car that wants to be driven! BTW 24,000 imported in 5 yrs to US, Why not.... NO storage...Its great for one person with one large duffle bag, a laptop and toiletries Most of it in your side seat.... Miatta, Great car..fun, a total blast also... very cool, very common. and more storage.... Just drive both...You will know which is best....
