hmmmm...am thinking vacuum leak....at the distributor (if still has one) at the fuel pressure regulator...at the emission control system...at the environmental controls....for some reason they keep using butyl rubber instead of silicone....replace the leaking vacuum lines with silicone ones~
A diagnostic tool could tell you all about it- you don't supply much info- have you kept up on your maintenance? hmmmmmmm?

think about it...a vacuum leak would produce high-idle and whichever device was needed is not there and would run like poop~ am I supposed to see the other side where that goodie is actually YOUR bong, and you're having a bit of a ha-ha on the whole affair?

This car has a HIGH resale value...I know, been trying to get my buddy to buy a Toyota rather than shelling out another $1500 to fix his ford taurus~
