Rough running Toyota pickup

Asked by Clab360 Jan 29, 2017 at 05:27 PM about the 1991 Toyota Pickup 2 Dr STD Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok I have a 91 Toyota pickup with a 22re it takes a
lot of cranks to start and once it's running it idles
rough and has no power pops and sputters when I
hit the gas and if I clamp off the fuel return line it
runs good I can rev it fine but still has low power
and slow throttle response. The fuel pump tank and
sending unit are new as well as the fuel pressure
regulator and filter. Any ideas?
