Dim light

Asked by GuruLSGY5 Apr 10, 2019 at 04:33 AM about the 1991 Toyota Pickup 2 Dr Deluxe Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1991 Toyota pickup. All the running lights,
taillight, break light, headlights, parking lights are
very dim. Is there an amp or some why to make
them brighter? I tried LED taillight/break light
bulbs. Not much better.

Dim lights are usually a result of low battery voltage or a bad ground. Verify the alternator is generating 13.5 - 14 volts when the engine is running. Also check your body ground strap (not exactly sure where that is on your truck).
