Installed New IAC but still having surge prob"s

Asked by michael Sep 18, 2020 at 02:17 AM about the 1992 Toyota Pickup 2 Dr STD Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just install 4 new fuel Injectors. All 4 were really bad I cleaned my Air intake
and TB the best I could, even installed a new IACV for the TB. All vacuum
hoses are in good condition, plus the 2 PVC hoses. I still get a surge problem. I
can drive it and get it up to 65 MPH but when I gear down to first and then
come to a stop it surges Badly. What am I missing here

1 Answer

none of this is true. because I have gone thru most of the fuel line from the tank up to the fuel injectors and everything is new no clogs. there are no vacuum leak either. I am getting lot's of gas. the surging I am getting is steady intermittent. I am thinking my TPS might be faulty
