Where is the airbag sensor located in a 1992 toyota xtra cab pick up.

I beg to differ with you sir, I bought the Truck right off the showroom floor in '92 and the airbag was clearly noted as "SRS" right on the middle of the steering wheel.
It was at about 30 MPH. I was accelerating up to 40 MPH when the person pulled out in front of me and stopped. I put on the brakes hard and was decelerating at the time of collision. I can't be sure of the exact speed. In any case, my passenger side front end (about half of the front end) hit their drivers side front quarter panel. My front bumper wrapped all the way in to my front passenger side tire and the battery was moved to about the middle of the engine compartment. Fortunately for them I didn't T-Bone them.
I guess my question should be "Is the sensor located on one side or the other". And since I'm not sure if I was going 30MPH or greater isn't the point, I was just curious as to where the sensor was located. It's not my intention to sue anyone or anything like that, I'm just curious as to the sensors location.
Well I might be wrong (although I doubt it), but I swear it said "SRS" on the center of the steering wheel. You may be right, I went through the original manual and there's nothing in there about an airbag.
No, it wasn't an SR5. Let's call it a draw and I'll just wonder about it forever. The Truck was a total (unfortunately) so there's no way for me to go look to see.
