My 1997 Previa is loosing coolingwater through the Engine. Can the fault be anywhere else but a leaking headgasket?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Engine passed 250 000km. 1997 model. Toyota Norway say that they have never had to change headgaskets on these engines. Find this very strange. Anybody else with knowledge about this? On these cars it is quite a job to change the headgasket, want to be as sure as possible that I am doing the right thing before I start the dismantling.

Since no one came up with an answer I just had to do something. Which where to pour some Engine block Sealing liquid into the cooling water. It did the trick!! And very very much cheaper than changing the headgasket! Thanks to my Garage suggested that idea. Hope it lasts "a lifetime" ! :)
