Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a rav4 in the shop getting a new transmission under the 150,000 warranty extension. is it a 'good' car after the new tranny or should i look at selling? after the new tranny do they have a history of problems? i can't afford a lot of maintenance. thanks!
