2001 Toyota Sequoia battery, altenator or loose/ bad wire?
I drive my sequoia daily. This past Friday I drove it several miles around town parked it In my aunts driveway, around 2.5 hours later came out and the truck wouldn't start. There was NO dash lights, headlights, dome lights, sounds or ANYTHING. I had my cousin jump start the battery. (he refused to let the truck "charge" said it wasn't necessary it'll charge on my drive home). The connection was literally for a split second it started up NO issues lights, radio EVERYTHING worked perfectly. I drove it home ( about 25miles) ran great. go into the driveway turned off the truck and decided to start it again to see if all was ok for work in the morning. well, it wasn't! SAME THING only this time the lights on the dash/dome slowly died out the door ajar light was illuminated. two days later I tried to start it again and same thing however, this time the door ajar light is still on ( when the door is open) and the lights on the door are VERY dim. I do not have cables to jump it again so I've got to wait until I can get a friend to help. Just wondering if this is a battery issue, Alternator or wire issue. Also, there is no corrosion or anything that looks "loose" that I can see but I am not a mechanic lol
