There must be a bad connection somewhere, just have to start looking. Check the plugins under the car, take them apart and put them back together. Check the bulb sockets to make sure there making good contact on the bulbs.
Some models will have the lights on all day, but won't show break lights until; you actually turn on the lights. I had problem with my Chevy Lumina and I checked all over the computer and man people have this problem and had different fix's. My brake lights would work and then they wouldn't and then one side would work and the other didn't and back and forth. Best trick is the brake light on your rear window is on it's own separate circuit. I tied brake lights to the small brake light in the window and everything worked fine since the. Also some of the tail light casings the rubber seals dry out and will fill with water and blow fuse. All of this has happened between my Chevy Car and Chevy Truck, but I just asking questions like you are, and someone will have had the same problem. On these new cars we need to share what ever data, so you don't have to go to the dealership.
My 09 Chevy Impala used to be a cop car and now when I turn the car on sometimes the back lights start flashing like cop lights does anybody know why
