Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have purchased a 2002 Toyota Sequoia about a few
months ago and I noticed that I haven't been getting any
heat due to not having a hose that is needed but I don't
know what type of hose it is.

There may be a reason they disconnected it so be prepared for leaks after it's fixed .
I agree.Sounds like the previous owner disconnected it. Easy to take the heater off line by just rerouting one hose and tossing the other in the trash to hide a problem.

That twenty year old Sequoia probably cost four grand and I'm sure a mechanic will show you that it's an economic loss. Have the car reviewed and if you can't get even with this unscrupulous seller, take him to small claims court on FRAUD.
