Motor Oil

I am about to change my engine oil. I accidentally bought 1 quart of 10W-30
when my car uses 5W-30. I have 6 quarts of 5W-30, and if I mix the 2 oils will it
be safe? I live in Missouri so will the upcoming cold weather also be a problem
with it? The oil i have bought is Royal Purple HMX High Mileage Motor Oil.

No problem- one quart won't really make a big difference-
Mix it and it will be fine. Been there done that here in Kansas. Colored oil is a gimmick by the way.
yes and if you live in a hot climate it would/will be even better !
Oil that is thicker at start up is not necessarily better. This mixture won't hurt a thing.
