I would read your owners manual for an explanation of dash symbols. If you don't have one, you can find it online.

Just a guess but that sounds like a security system issue.

if the car is off and the keys out of the ignition this usually happens if the doors remain unlocked. I have also seen it in my truck if the door is open and the keys are out of the ignition I think ^^^ F_O_R^^^ I correct just a warning to make you aware that the doors are not locked
