Dash lights do not work but the needles and warning light work.

Is the dimmer switch in the off position?

No i just bought a new GM AC delco dimmer switch because the old one was definitely bad. rotating the knob does not make a difference.

Did all the wiring match up or was there some guess work ?

I am having trouble locating an exact wiring diagram. The Haynes Manual isn't exactly the same for this car so I am having to guess a little. I did check the dimmer prior to replacement and it definitely was not working so I know that was bad. I am going to try and go the Chevrolet when they open so I can see if they will give me a good diagram.

I have rotated the dimmer switch from stop to stop without any change so I suspect the dimmer is not the issue. I couldn't even find the auto light sensor checkout but don't suspect that because the other dash lights and headlights do work. I suspect it may be the cluster but before I buy a new one or have this one reworked I wanted to see if I was missing anything.
