2005 chevy malibu engine sensors and throttle body

I turn the ignition and sometimes i have to give it
gas for the idle to catch and stay idle if not it will
die

My 2000 and 2003 Malibus do the same thing. If I remember correctly it was a throttle positioning sensor or TPS. That I had to replace
