2005 toyotasienna hot air on drivers side. cold air on passengerside, what is it

A blend air door has stopped working. Sometimes a shop can do a system reset and things will start working but if a reset doesn’t work then it starts to get expensive cause if the door is broken then the entire heater assembly has to be removed and the broken door replaced.
