The right sliding door switch will not open the door.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The right sliding door push button switch will not work to open the door, all
other switches work fine,(remote, overhead push button etc.), After the door
is open the inside push button works fine to close the door or partially open
or close it, also the courtesy light at that door doesn't light and when testing
for voltage at the plug none is there. I replaced the push button and the
light bulb at that position without any results.

It could be a combination of things. I have had to replace the door switch that turns on the dome light as they get water in them and go bad. Here is an article on how to change that: http://www.shareyourrepair.com/2013/02/how-to-fix-sienna- dome-lights-randomly.html You could check fuses 13 (DOME 10 A – Interior lights, personal lights, vanity lights, door courtesy lights, luggage compartment light, ignition switch light, multi- information display) and 14 (ECU-B 10 A – Power sliding door, air conditioning system, power windows, multiplex communication system, meter and gauge, wireless remote control system) in the Engine Compartment fuse box as described in this article: http://www.shareyourrepair.com/2017/01/toyota-sienna-fuse- locations.html
