payload capacity

i carried about a 300 lb. payload for my company. Could that have caused problems with a 95 tacoma with 144k miles. i need to know the average payload for that with normal wear and tear.

Without knowing what kind of problems you are experiencing, I can tell you that the average passenger car is rated for the number of passengers (3-6) averaging 150 lbs each, plus @ 200 lbs. of luggage. So one guy driving with 300 lbs. of sales material, etc. should not cause any excess damage to the vehicle beyond normal wear and tear.
