How do I replace the driver's side seat belt?

I'm sure you figured it out by now, but I'm hoping you will share the answer. I have the exact same truck and the driver's side seat belt just pulled all the way out and won't rewind. Thanks!

If you haven't figured it out yet, or if anyone else needs the info, here's how I did it on my 98 Tacoma 2WD Extended cab... On the kickplate that runs along the floor between the drivers seat and the door, there are four screws securing it in place. Remove the two nearest the seat belt, then carefully pry the end up. There are snap clips holding it in, so it may take a little bit of prying. Next, there is a plastic cap on the upper portion of the shoulder strap hanger, as well as one over the bracket that the end of the belt attaches to on the floor. Both of these pop off fairly easily to expose the bolts that hold them in place. Remove the bolt holding the end of the belt to the floor, then the bolt that holds the shoulder strap hanger. After those are out of the way, where you lifted up the kick plate, the edge of the wall panel should be exposed. Carefully pry it away from the wall of the cab. Again, it is held in place with clips, so it may take a little bit of prying. On mine I had to pop out 6 or 8 of the clips to be able to push the wall panel out far enough to get at the belt retractor inside. At the bottom of the retractor is another bolt that holds it in place, remove that. then to remove the entire assembly, there is a plastic piece with a slot that feeds the belt through the wall panel, this can be removed by squeezing two clips at the bottom of it on the inside of the wall panel. Once it's free of the wall panel, turn it sideways to pass it and the retractor through the wall panel and you are done. The process is pretty much identical for both sides of the vehicle, but keep in mind, the retractor assemblies are keyed to only fit on one side or the other, so you can't simply swap one for the other.
