Will a 3rd row seat from a 99 chevy suburban fit into a 2005?

No it won't. The '99 is an older style model that is wider then the 2005. 1999 parts interchange with models that look like it from '99 down. Everything changed in 2000 for the suburban. A 2000 seat might fit though. To know for sure, check with a good auto salvage yard. They can look it up in their Hollander book.
