I have a 2004 Tacoma, 2.7L, 4x4, standard cab, auto trans where do i find a replacement driveshaft?

Asked by 04tacomaman May 16, 2017 at 12:51 PM about the 2004 Toyota Tacoma 2 Dr STD 4WD Standard Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The closest thing that i can find is for a manual transmission or for an
automatic pre runner. will either of these work? i busted the double cardan in
the one currently on the truck. i have found replacements for every type of
tacoma from this year except for my truck. Is this driveshaft common with
another type of tacoma?

You need the correct driveshaft. If the parts you looked at worked for a 4x4 they would say so. The pre-runner is 2WD.
