Cooling fan speed high
I was hauling a trailer from Chicago to middle of Michigan and I have a 2005
Trailblazer. It was great 90% of the trip. When I got about 45 mins out from
my destination my check engine light came on. Pulled over to Auto Zone and
they tested it and came up the code of "Cooling fan speed high"...there were
no suggestions to fix it. After a couple of hours I was getting back on the
expressway to come back to Chicago and the light went off. Then when I
was about 10 mins from home it came back on. I was wondering if it is
because on both occasions I was doing between 80-90 mph for a couple of
hours or if I need to replace my relay for the fan? The car was off for over 12
hours and the light is still on when I turn my car on. I need to go back to
Michigan Friday and come home Sunday.
