Why is the dashboard saying engine disabled?

Is your battery connected properly? Are all the connections tight? If you put in a new battery and had to jump it, there is something wrong there. Your alternator may not be charging the battery due to a incorrect connection or bad connection. Check and clean the ground wire, Positive is red, ground is black. Ground goes to the car frame, the positive head off to the starter and other engine componants. Make sure all are clean and have a good connection.
Hey buddy! You need the P2 factory key to start engine. I got a replacement key made and it showed that message in the dash. You have to have a factory key. Its a chip key "P2" model key
