Should have it checked out if it is not hot air coming threw. Possible plugged heater core, or possible blend door actuator.

Chev Venture 2005; temp gauge went out of site, during move from WY to WA. Stopped in next town; had new temperature gauge put in; called son; he said if not hissing, boiling over water, drive it, it's the gauges. Did and was the gauge on dash. Couple months later gas gauge starting fluctuating so you didn't know how much gas you had for real. I found web site ....took me 15 minutes to pull off plastic dash cover, take out 2 screws and unplug gauges. Sent to outfit in Georgia, they returned it in OEM condition, lifetime warranty, within 24 hrs; Cost me $100 to fix, $25 to ship to them. They put all new bulbs in to boot and so far after a couple years all gauges are still working great. PLUS...I didn't have to pay the dealerships $300 to $600 as was quoted to me at several dealers for replace/repair it. Did it myself and saved a bundle.
