My 2004 awd Chevy Astro van awd light stays on and I hear it clicking when I start it up, so my first question is will it hurt the van if I keep driving it like that & my 2 question is how do I fix it?

I suspect a reduced voltage condition...you can check by measuring your current situation...perhaps a new battery will bring you up to 12.5 volts at least with able to pull 50 amps (clean with wirebrush when to accomplish 50 amp service)~ restored power will make it behave properly~

The AWD ACTUATOR is bad on the xfer case. Drop the drive shaft, remove/replace. Takes about two hours or three beers, whichever comes first. Put NEW fluid in thr case too.
