no clutch. Throw out barring?

Asked by Guru9T25CR Mar 29, 2021 at 10:01 AM about the 2004 Chevrolet Blazer LS 2-Door RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently after I put it in gear it makes a grinding sound when letting off the clutch. It's been happening for about 2 months. Suddenly I have no clutch and no pressure in Petal. I can still drive but have to time and shift accordingly.
It's making a high pitched whine but seems to drive okay. Has my throwout bearing broken?
There is no apparent hydraulic fluid leaks.......

Either way it is time for a new clutch and throw out bearing. It would be a waste of money to just replace the bearing.
