driverside running light

in the day when the sun is out my drivers side running light does not come on,but at night it does why?

Do you have separate running lights & headlights? Are you sure they are the same light/bulb? Maybe you are seeing the high beam at night, & the low beam bulb is the same as the running light, and it's burnt out???

your car is smarter than you to know it is not night thats what mine does:D lol no but really it is smarter than you if you try to turn it on at ur night but its day and the worlds day
