Blazer is throwing 10 codes and I am not a mechanic and need help please

Asked by Denisha1227 Oct 29, 2020 at 10:50 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Blazer LS 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 04 blazer that is throwing codes for the Torque converter clutch
solenoid circuit, Shift Solenoid A and B, Pressure control circuit open and shift
timing. The truck ran perfectly fine before I switched out the ignition switch,
which caused an electrical problem which resulted in transmission not wanting
to shift. My question is, what could be the problem and would it be an easy fix.
I know it's a long shot but it's worth a shot.

Kinda figured that would be the case. Before I switched it out Tranny ran fine and shifted smoothly.

Maybe this is a coincidence. Get an opinion from a good transmission shop.

Get rid of it! A few years ago a friend had the same problem with his 97 Blazer. He spent a ton of money on a rebuilt transmission. Got his Blazer back and a few days later he had the exact same problem as before! He wound up trading it in for less than half of what he paid for the transmission! Learn from his mistake!! Hope that helps! Jim
